After a little break over the rainy end of Winter, QUACKS returns! Now with 70% less seasonal depression and a brand new venue!

Aimed at LGBTQ+, women, femmes, and allies, it is a relaxed, inclusive, beginner-friendly space for folks interested in trying stand-up for the first time, build up their confidence, and workshop new material.

No advanced booking necessary, and it is  ‘pay what you feel!'  We'd love for you to come and have a laugh with us and meet other queer comedy nerds! Get in touch if you'd like a 5 minute slot! See you there from 7pm, show starts at 7.30.

Worms in Progress features two fantastic queer comedians testing out their new hour long shows!

Sian Davies is an artist, activist and arsehole from Liverpool. She is a multi-award winning comedian, writer and theatre maker who performs across the UK. She effortlessly combines razor sharp wit with true life stories to enthral and entertain audiences.

Sian won the Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize for Best in Class in 2022, the award for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2020, was runner up in the Funny Women Stage Award in 2019 and winner of Hilarity Bites Best New Act in 2018. She is the driving force behind sell out fringe phenomenon’s Best in Class and Comedy Queers.

Sian Davies is working class and queer, and fiercely proud of belonging to both communities.

Is pettiness a character flaw, or the fuel behind some of history's finest moments? And what is the formula for success? (I have a whiteboard - I will show you)

In Chief Petty Officer Welsh comedian and podcaster Vix Leyton looks at spite as strategy, exploring the small, stubborn, gloriously petty acts that have shaped history, politics and everyday life. From colonial governors starting wars over chairs they weren't allowed to sit on, to revolutions powered by tea, salt and spreadsheets; modern protest driven by empty seats and TikTok teens and everything 50 Cent has ever done. This is a sharp, funny comedy lecture for anyone who's ever wished Lego into the shoe of someone who hasn’t held the door for them.

Smart, irreverent and quietly political, Chief Petty Officer blends stand-up, true historical stories and modern culture to argue that pettiness isn't a glitch in the system - it's often the petrol that's driven pop culture and history forward, for better or worse.

Tickets for Worms In Progress are on sale NOW, with early bird tickets starting at £10!
